Process over Product
Telling a designer what to do may help the product get delivered sooner. Teaching a designer how to think and follow a user centered design process will increase their skills and the entire team.
Teamstorming
When you think you can do it alone, there is a greater chance of getting designers block! You know, when you can’t see past your own ideas and it becomes impossible to review your own work! That’s why teaming with another designer can help you generate heaps of ideas and get you to think outside of the box. Teamstorming is when you constantly seek feedback from others.

About Me
Full of energy, I motivate and inspire all the teams I work with across the organization to collaborate and engage in our design process. Including everyone in the process is the best way to evangelize UX. I love sharing my knowledge to help others grow, learn and build their skills.
Creativity is not a switch I can turn off. I find myself innovating when going for runs or hanging out with friends. I’m always thinking of ways to improve a design or a process, whether it’s for work, or personal app ideas, or for institutions that I am a board member of.
I am also driven to improve myself. I love being part of active Orange County and San Diego UX communities. I love learning new methodologies by reading, attending conferences or workshops, and leveling up my UX toolkit with the latest apps, especially remote workspace apps.
I’ve been helping people and companies in a UX capacity for twenty years both locally and globally.
