Led global design team of eight designers and researchers innovating and building enterprise web and mobile products in the Retail Execution field for the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
Created a dashboard design concept of charts, KPI data and recommended actions, based on user research insights, that was later validated with customers to confirm a potential time saving of 80%.
Performed user interviews with persona, Key Account Manager, to capture time and cost of tasks for each step in their user journey, as well as pain points and level of pain, which helped us prioritize areas of greatest impact, which we determined to be “time spent analyzing and reviewing data”.
Improved the research process by formalizing and requiring the documentation of a Research Plan and Research Insights.
Created and ran Q4 Roadmap Planning workshop among cross-functional, global teams to align on product vision, north star metrics, OKR’s and prioritize themes for features in upcoming quarter.
Drove and facilitated workshops for two UX initiatives to improve designers to share their voice and provide feedback during Design Share meetings. We were able to increase the participation from 50% to 95% across the UX team within 3 months.

Completed the redesign of the Claims Examiner Portal product, leading a team of six designers to follow Mitchell’s user-centered design “Triple Diamond” process, from discovery research to concept design and validation through execution of design and usability testing, and then released to happy customers in Q1 2021, which earned me the Annual 2020 MVP Award.
Created concept designs of the vision for the Fusion product (fusing together multiple products into one), leading to company-wide understanding of the design strategy, which earned me the Q1 2020 MVP Award.
Led and mentored a team of six designers to build enterprise web and mobile applications and product redesigns for the workers compensation insurance industry following an Agile development process that has repeatedly received praise for its elegant design from customers and the organization.
Created and improved seven processes, including Discovery Research, Design Sprint, Dev Support, and Product Management Collaboration, leading to a streamlined delivery process and a happier, collective work environment.
Presented to the C-suite and Executive team, including the CEO, CTO and SVP, on topics of Kano Model for Concept Validation and Claims Examiner Portal Redesign Project.
Coordinated with the Mitchell Magnetic Design System team to define best practices for building and documenting design patterns and components to bring consistency to our suite of products.

Designed Media Player for the MOTORAZR2 and MOTOROKR Z6 mobile phones, released in Q3 2007.
Created interactive prototype and conduct usability test to evaluate User Profile settings, which reduced post-launch defects by 10% and reduced development costs by $100k.
Contributed to design of first new color touch screen mobile phone platform (Tactium) for the Asian market, known as the Motorola A760, released in Q2 2003, then later the A780, released in Q4 2004.
Supported Beijing Research team to develop and perform usability test to measure and compare the touch accuracy of three different styli, to improve ergonomics of new touch screen devices.
